Asia’s Most Important Infrastructure Event – IIICE, 28 to 30 Aug’12

Indonesia International Infrastructure Conference and Exhibition 2012 (IIICE 2012), a Government of Republic of Indonesia initiative shall be held from 28th to 30th August 2012, at Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia.

Indonesia International Infrastructure Conference and Exhibition 2012 (IIICE 2012), organized by the Government of Republic of Indonesia shall be held from 28th to 30th August 2012, at Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia. It is an Asia Pacific Ministers & Regional Governors Conference on Sustainable and Inclusive Infrastructure Development that shall witness the coming together of senior government officials and regional governors of 33 provinces.

The focus of the conference is to bring together the industry leaders at Asia’s most important infrastructure event. It’s a 3 day event comprising of conference and exhibition that will provide a platform to National and Regional governments, businesses, investors and leading technology experts to meet, discuss, and set strategies for the planning, development and implementation of sustainable and inclusive infrastructure across the archipelago.

Alongside IICE will be held APM-RPG which is a leading G2G, G2B and B2B forum for infrastructure development in Indonesia. It brings together the widest community of senior decision makers and officials responsible for infrastructure projects in Indonesia.

Talking about IIICE 2012, M Hatta Rajasa, Co-ordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Republic of Indonesia said, “In consideration of the growing economic strength taking shape across Indonesia today, IIICE 2012 will focus in detail on the growing domestic opportunities in Indonesia for investment being developed in line with our MP3EI national agenda with the theme ‘Accelerating the Expansion of Indonesia’s Economic Development Through Increased Connectivity.’ I am pleased on behalf of the Co-ordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs to fully support this agenda and to invite leading private and public sector experts on infrastructure development to participate with this national conference and exhibition towards partnering with the government of Indonesia in developing our national agenda of MP3EI.”

‘The Master Plan for the Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesia’s Economic Development’ (MP3IE) was launched in 2011, with a scope through to 2025; to connect the 33 provinces of Indonesia with both domestic & International partners, fostering inclusive and sustainable economic growth across the archipelago.

The various sessions at the conference shall talk about: Unlocking the Vast Economic Potential of Indonesia in Partnership with Asia Pacific Partners through Sustainable and Inclusive Infrastructure Development; Infrastructure Investment Leadership Panel – Private Sector Participation in Developing Sustainable Economic Growth across Indonesia; Macro Planning for Indonesia as an Emerging Infrastructure Powerhouse; Parallel Sector Track & MP3EI Approach, Presenting Infrastructure Opportunities in the Provinces to the Global Community (6 corridors).
